The history says that a deity wanted to marry a beautiful local maiden called Naipí. But unfortunately, the lady didn’t love him back and fled away with her lover, Tarobá. The God got angry and decided to cut River Iguazú, creating multiple waterfalls and condemning the lovers to an eternal fall. Thus, came about the IGUAZU FALLS. Such a beautiful yet a heart-breaking story, isn’t it?

 

The property — Dramatic & Serene Jungle Boutique

The brand new Awasi Iguazú eco-resort is located on the banks of the Iguazú River and on the Argentinian side of the falls. The resort is also only 20 minutes from the entrance to the falls. This is a true jungle paradise filled with over 2,000 species and plants, from Jaguars and ocelots to 4-foot-long Capybaras and howler monkeys and 400 types of birds. Awasi Iguazu is built on stilts to reduce carbon footprint.

 

Your Villa — Top-notch Luxury

The rooms have spacious living rooms and outside decks complete with sun loungers and personal plunge pools. Surrounded by jungle, the villas are connected to the main lodge by stone walkways. Doesn’t it sound rustic and exciting?

Blackout Dates: There will be dates on which this deal will be unavailable. Dates for these have been marked on the booking calendar under blackout dates.

Availability: To confirm your dates of stay at purchase, click on 'Book Now' and select your preferred package. Use the calendar to browse and select available dates. Dates with a surcharge and blackout dates are identified.

7-day Change of Heart Refund Policy: We always have one deal better than the other. So we understand your change of heart. Within 7 days of purchase, we’ll happily give you an option to cancel your booking, with a full refund, as long as the cancellation date is at least 30 days before the arrival date. For cancellations after 7 days of purchase, the hotel’s cancellation policy and penalty apply.

Change of Date: 1 change in dates is permissible at no additional charges, provided that the change is made at least 30 days before the original arrival date and provided that the hotel has availability on the newly requested dates. The final decision regarding date changes is at the sole discretion of the Hotel and the Hotel reserves the right to decline a change in dates, should availability not exist on newly requested dates.

Hotel Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation will incur a full payment. A no-show on the day of arrival will also incur charges equivalent to a full stay.

Each package for a Villa is valid for two adults; each package for a Master Villa is valid for four adults.

Maximum Guest Capacity: The maximum room capacity for Villa is two adults and two children (aged between 10-18 years) or three adults. For Master Villa it is four adults and two children (aged between 10-18 years) or five adults. See the ‘Extra Guest Policy’ and ‘Child Policy’ for more details.

Extra Guest Policy: An extra adult can stay at a surcharge of INR 1,17,000 per night, which includes an extra bed and the inclusions mentioned in the package, payable to FABgetaways at the time of booking. Please contact our Travel Concierge team, should you wish to include an additional guest in the booking.

Child Policy: A child (aged between 10-18 years) can stay at a surcharge of INR 58,500 per night, which includes an extra bed and inclusions mentioned in the package, payable to FABgetaways at the time of booking. Please contact our Travel Concierge team, should you wish to include a child in the booking.

Dining: Awasi Iguazu's restaurant offers some of the best gourmet meals from locally sourced farms and freshwater fish, all curated by chef Aarón Castillo Telleria. With a maximum of 28 guests under one roof, enjoy your luxe meal in complete privacy.

Activities: Explore not only the Atlantic rainforest and the waterfalls but other adventures like kayaking the Yacuí River, taking the resorts private motorboat to Yasi Waterfall or a visit to the local Guarani tribes as well as San Ignacio Mini, the 18th century Jesuit ruins. You can also take the 3-hour drive to the this UNESCO World Heritage site, the red sandstone block and Baroque styled ruins which are located deep in the Argentine jungle. So, overall, you can choose your activities that includes: Canoe, Biking, Sailing, Mountain biking and Hiking.

In-Room facilities: Air-conditioning, black-out curtains and a minibar with free bottled water, is provided in each room.

4 Wheel Drive: The moment you arrive at the property, a 4WD car will be at your disposal 24*7, helping you explore the attractions at your own pace.

Reviews

The luxury property is a 20-minute drive from the International Airport of Puerto Iguazú (also known as Cataratas del Iguazú). It is also easy to arrive at Awasi from the Brazilian side: it takes roughly 35 minutes to travel by vehicle from Foz do Iguaçu International Airport to the property (depending on immigration), a transfer carried out by a private guide. Flights from major metro cities in India are available to Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. From Buenos Aires, fly to International Airport of Puerto Iguazú (also known as Cataratas del Iguazú). Your private guide will be waiting at the airport to greet you and take you to the hotel in a private 4WD. Alternatively, from destinations in Brazil: The Awasi private guides also meet and greet guests at Brazil’s Aeropuerto Internacional de Foz do Iguaçu, taking them to the lodge in their private 4WD.
