Something really interesting about TATR (Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve) is that it is a habitat for approximately 100 tigers and more than 300 species of birds. The 1,773 sq. km. expanse of the reserve gives you a lot of scope to explore the vivid fauna comprising Sloth Bears, Dholes, Leopards, Indian Gaurs, Spotted Deers, Chitals, and a lot more.

The Bamboo Forest Safari Lodge (BFSL), Tadoba — is a royal treat for thrill seekers and nature lovers alike. A stay at BFSL also gives you access to the newly-declared Umred-Kharhandla Tiger Reserve (an hour's drive away from the property). Tadoba has more than 60 Tigers and the geography of Tadoba is such that Tigers Criss Cross the safari tracks often and therefore sightings here are prolific, making it the second park after Bandhavgarh to have such sightings.

Spread over 1,773 Sq. km., Tadoba-Andhari is the largest tiger reserve in Maharashtra. The Bamboo Safari Lodge is located on the edge of a lake about 90 minutes away from Nagpur airport. The lodge boasts of 19 beautifully crafted villas, with gorgeous (and eco-friendly) architecture and indoor & outdoor showers.

 

Your Room — Eco-Luxury Redefined

The accommodation is located on the edge of the Maasal Lake.

Villa: The luxurious villas, 92 sq.m. each, offer spectacular views of the lake and will transport you in another world. They are no less than any high-end resort suites. These villas are equipped with large bed suite washrooms and powder rooms, a patio overlooking the lake, a private garden and an open-to-sky bath tub area surrounded by greenery.

Chalet: Each of the chalet has 4 individual, interconnected rooms decked with king-sized beds and twin beds.

The rooms of villas and chalets are loaded with amenities such as LCD TVs with satellite connection, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hot/cold shower, minibar, and tea/coffee maker.

7-day Change of Heart Refund Policy: We always have one deal better than the other. So we understand your change of heart. Within 7 days of purchase we’ll happily give you an option to cancel your booking, with a full refund, as long as the cancellation date is at least 30 days prior to the arrival date. For cancellations after 7 days of a purchase, the hotel’s cancellation policy and penalty applies.

Change of Date: 1 change in dates is permissible at no additional charges, provided that the change is made at least 30 days prior to the original arrival date and provided that the hotel has availability on the newly requested dates. The final decision regarding date changes is at the sole discretion of the Hotel and the Hotel reserves the right to decline a change in dates, should availability not exist on newly requested dates.

Hotel Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation will incur a full payment. A no show at the day of arrival will also incur charges equivalent to a full stay.

Each package is valid for two adults

Maximum Guest Capacity: The maximum room capacity is two adults and one child (aged below 6 years) or three adults. See the ‘Extra Guest Policy’ and ‘Child Policy’ for more details.

Child Policy: One child (aged between 0-5 years) may stay free of charge. And child aged between 6-12, may stay for a surcharge of INR 5195 per night at Chalet and INR 5790 at Villas with all the package inclusions (as given in Highlights), payable directly to the resort.

Extra Guest Policy: One adult (aged 13 or older) may stay for a surcharge of INR 6230 per night for Chalet and INR 6950 for Villas with all the package inclusions (as given in Highlights), payable directly to the resort.

The package cannot be split.

Connecting rooms are not available.

Safari: can be availed at a surcharge — all the information about the same is available at the property and is to be directly paid to them. Once you book the trip, FABgetaways Travel Concierge will be happy to help you organise your Safari -- either on a Rotational gypsy or a modified Scorpio, subject to availability.

Dining: Macchan – the restaurant, serves lip smacking International and Indian delicacies. The restaurant also offers the option of ‘on the deck’ lake-side dining, to provide you with the ultimate experience of fine dining in the lap of nature alongside a rooftop gazebo for curated personalised celebrations.

The Bamboo Forest Safari Lodge is 7 km/10 min from the Kolara Gate of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in eastern Maharashtra. It is 2 hrs from Nagpur, which has the closest airport. Mumbai is a 90-min flight from Nagpur. Pickup and drop is available at a surcharge, payable directly to the property. The closest railway station is Warora, 40 km/1 hr by road.
