By Rail

Canning Railway Station is the nearest railhead, located 34 km (approx. 1.5 hours) away from the resort, which receives regular local trains from Sealdah Railway Station in Kolkata. Kolkata is well-connected by trains to various major cities of India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. You can get frequent road transportation from Canning to Godkhali Jetty, where the boat journey to Sundarban begins.

By Road

Sundarban is well-connected with Kolkata by road as frequent buses and cabs are available for Sonakhali, Namkhana, Raidighi, Najat, and Canning, all close to Sunderban, and provide convenient access to the riverine waterways. You can also drive to the resort via a 4-hour (90 km) route from Kolkata, a 9-hour (369 km) route from Jamshedpur, an 11.5-hour (488 km) route from Ranchi or a 13-hour (528 km) route from Bhubaneswar.
