Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and stay at the hotel

Arrive at the capital city- Cape Town. You will be escorted from the airport to your hotel by a private car. Check in at your hotel and enjoy your luxurious stay while you also refresh yourself for an everlasting trip to the city next day.

Day 2: A tour of Cape Town

On the second day, get on a ride to the city centre and explore the famous landmarks of the city. These comprise of the Castle of Good Hope- built in 1666 by the Dutch East India Company and City Hall, a baroque building and the Grand Parade. Following the city’s central thoroughfare, Adderley Street, guests will get to see St. George’s Cathedral, the Anglican Diocese of Nobel Peace Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu followed by the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter. The guests are then taken through Kloof Nek and the magnificent Table Mountain further ascending to the top weather permitting by the revolving cable car. Here, you can marvel at the wildflowers, the famed silver tree and the birds-eye view of the city & its beaches. On a clear day, you might also get a glance of the famous Robben Island- where Sir Nelson Mandela was imprisoned on one side and Cape Point on the other. Proceed from the Upper Cableway station to your awaiting vehicle and take a ride around the Table Bay to the Milnerton area. From here, you can also see Table Mountain the way the early settlers saw while sailing into Table Bay.

Table Mountain is one of the most iconic destinations is Cape Town. The cableway offers a comfortable mode of reaching the top of the mountain in revolving cars that offer 360-degree views of the surrounding during the ascent. At the top, there’s a self-service restaurant and deli on site.
The package includes tickets to the Cableway and your visit to the Castle of Good Hope.

Day 3: The Day At The Winelands

While the fertile valleys of South Africa are renowned all across the globe for their crisp white and classic French-style red wine, the area is also a treasure of rustic beauty and sprawling estates shaded by giant oak trees. The third day drive covers the principle wine routes of the country at Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Your day starts with a ride all the way to Paarl where you will be struck by the beauty of the Valley, the pristine blue sky, the rolling vineyards and the Pearl of Paarl set high above the valley. Enjoy wine tasting and a cellar tour at one of the local estates.

From Paarl, route to north-west of the beautiful village of Franschhoek, near the Drakenstein Mountains. A memorial in the town commemorates the arrival of these early settlers who helped develop the wines sought after by Napoleon, Bismark and royalty such as Edward VII, the Prince of Wales. Here, one can stop amidst the route for lunch (the lunch is not a part of the inclusions offered.) and another wine tasting at a vineyard.

The day is followed by a trip to Stellenbosch- the second oldest town in South Africa and the historic heart of the wine region of the country. A gracious blend of 18th-century Cape Dutch, Georgian and Victorian buildings is evident on Dorp Street, where massive oaks still shade original water furrows. Enjoy a final wine tasting before returning to Cape Town.

Day 4: Travel from Cape Town to Knysna, arrival & accommodation

On the fourth day, check out from your hotel at Cape Town and board a private car waiting for you for a six-hour drive to Knysna. Check in at your hotel in Knysna and later embark on a sunset cruise.

John Benn Cruise

The John Benn is a beautiful double-decker floating restaurant that offers daily lagoon cruises to the Knysna Heads. This verdant part of South Africa is strikingly stunning and what better way to experience it than on serene lagoon waters? There are two full bars on board and an optional a la carte and tapas menu that includes the fresh and famous Knysna oysters. This full enclosed luxury ferry has been constructed from Yellowwood that was sourced from the Knysna Forest. The John Benn Ferry is about joviality, good food, wine and scenery that leaves you in awe.

Day 5: Cango Wildlife

A 60 minutes’ guided tour of the Valley of the Ancients is included in the standard ticket. On this tour, you get to explore ancient temple, giant flying foxes, exotic birds and other enthralling species. However, animal encounters can be availed at an additional charge. The themed walk through experience is sure to fascinate and educate on modern conservation issues.

Ostrich Farm Tour

The Safari Ostrich Farm is a functional ostrich farm in the popular town of Oudsthoorn located at the famed Garden Route. The farm is often referred as a must-visit, when in South Africa. On a guided tour, you will learn the different aspects of Ostrich farming and the Ostriches themselves. The Safari Ostrich Farm is home to the rare White Ostrich. There are two restaurants that serve delicious Ostrich cuisines (food & beverages offered at the restaurant is not a part of the inclusions offered). If you are someone with a knack for shopping, you can explore the stores offering fine-crafted ostrich leather products or intricate ornamental ostrich eggs.

Cango Caves Heritage Tour

You can enjoy a guided tour to Oudtshoorn’s famed Cango Caves. This one of Africa’s most spectacular natural formations with vast caverns, beautiful, delicate and sometimes majestic stalagmites and stalactites and dripstone caverns. The picturesque tour, which is said to be not meant for the fainthearted, is a comparatively gentle stroll through the caves while marvelling at their distinctly dramatic rock formation.

Day 6:

On your 6th day, you can check out from your hotel and head to the George Airport for your flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Kempton Park, check in to your hotel and just lay back.

Flights from George Airport to O.R. Tambo International Airport are not a part of the offered inclusions.

Day 7: Hot air balloon safari

Gametrackers present a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view the lovely and game-rich Pilanesberg National Park from the air, in a hot-air balloon. The 55 000ha park is located within an extinct volcano. You will be provided transfers from your hotel to the launch site inside national park and escorted onto the hot-air balloon. The trip takes approximately an hour which comprises of drifting serenely over the park looking out for wildlife, including the Big 5, and marvellous landscapes. On landing, you will be offered sparkling wine- a time-honoured tradition for hot-air ballooning. This is followed by getting transferred to a private game lodge for a full English Breakfast. On completion, get a “first flight” certificate signed by the pilot.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a game drive to Pilanesberg. An open safari vehicle to Pilanesberg National Park offers close encounters with Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Wild dog, Cheetah, Rhino and Buffalo.

Day 8:

On your 8th day, you may check out from your hotel while a private car is awaiting to offer you transfer to Johannesburg. Arrive at Johannesburg, check in to your hotel there and enjoy a luxurious stay before you bid adieu South Africa the next day.

Day 9: 

On your 9th day, check out from your hotel. A private car will be available for your shuttle to O.R. Tambo International Airport. From the airport, you can board your flight back to India.

The city nestles on the banks of a breathtakingly pretty lagoon, now a protected marine reserve that is home to the extraordinary sea horse and over 200 species of fish.

Beaches, lakes, mountains and rivers provide endless opportunity for leisure and outdoor adventure. Within the town, craft shops, flea-markets and cosy cafés beckon with small-town charm and hospitality. The area around Knysna is a veritable Garden of Eden. Johannesburg Kempton Park is the main place of Ekurhuleni in the Gauteng province, South Africa. The city has been a part of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality since 2000. Kempton Park is located north-east of Johannesburg, South Africa's largest city, and south of Pretoria, South Africa's de facto capital city, lying between the two cities. It is situated next to Tembisa, one of the largest townships in South Africa. Kempton Park boasts numerous entertainment and sporting facilities and is just minutes away from large shopping malls as well as many other amenities.
