Three hours away from Mumbai (and Pune), is a small town called Tala. This Raigad village is known for its mangoes and prawns farming. Blessed with a charming landscape, The Forest Hills, Tala is a perfect hideout from the hustle-bustle of city life. Get ready to be disconnected from the chaos.
Places worth a visit include Tala fort (10 kilometres), Kuda Caves (2 kilometres), Murud Beach (28 kilometres), Murud-Janjira Fort (32 kilometres), Diveagar Beach (45kilometres) and Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary (60 kilometres).
The property — Stunning And Unique
Forest Hills is spread across two hillocks, making it much grander than what you would normally expect. Located in the Sahyadri Hills, there are only 10 villas, cabins and mud huts spread over nearly 250 acres, so one gets all the privacy they need.
The rooms and common areas all at different locations and you will be transported by their in-house cars to explore and roam around the property. To add on, the property is pet-friendly!

The Tree Hugger is a stunning rustic tree house which is located on level four of the hill, and sits right on its edge, offering outstanding views. It features a private balcony overlooking the valley.

The Camel Cabin
The Camel Cabin is a wooden 800 sq ft Tent House located on level three of the hill. Privacy is at its best as there is an attached sit out, a private garden at the rear and a huge lawn in front.

7-day Change of Heart Refund Policy: We always have one deal better than the other. So we understand your change of heart. Within seven days of purchase, we’ll happily give you an option to cancel your booking, with a full refund, as long as the cancellation date is at least 30 days prior to the arrival date. For cancellations after seven days of purchase, the hotel’s cancellation policy and penalty apply.
Hotel Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation will incur a 100% payment. A no-show on the day of arrival will incur charges equivalent to a full stay.
Maximum Guest Capacity: The maximum room capacity is two adults and one child (aged below 12 years) or 3 adults. See the ‘Extra Guest Policy’ and ‘Child Policy’ for more details.
Child Policy: One child (under 5 years) stays free of charge when using existing beds.
One child (aged between 6 to 12 years) is charged INR 5999 per night with an extra bed and meals.
Extra Guest Policy: An extra adult is charged INR 10,000 per night for an extra bed and meals.
The maximum number of extra beds/cribs in a room is 1.
The package cannot be split.
Connecting rooms are not available.
