Havana: Welcome to the architectural marvel and the capital city of Cuba. You’ll be amazed by the history the city bear: Castillo de la Real Fuerza, maritime museum, forts and the traces of Spanish culture from colonialism. The structure of Catedral de San Cristobal and Plaza Vieja will reflect the city’s vibrancy. The iconic Capitol Building, from the 1920s, will take you by surprise.

Cienfuegos : While many cities in Cuba reflect the country’s era of colonialism, the city of Cienfuegos does it splendidly. Rested on Bahía de Cienfuegos, a bay on the southern coast of Cuba, there are a lot of tourist attractions that’ll keep you occupied throughout your journey. Visit Tomas Terry Theatre, a place with gold-leaf mosaics and ceiling frescoes, and provincial museum, which brings alive the city’s history.

Trinidad: Trinidad used to be, once upon a time, a sugar-producing town and the relics from this era can be found at Museo Romantico. From cobblestone streets to colonial old town, one thing’s for sure that you’ll be spoilt for choices as far as your expedition is concerned.

8-day holiday itinerary

Day 1: Exploring the city of Havana from the roots!

Welcome to Havana and get set for an exciting trip ahead! Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our representative and from there you’ll be escorted to Havana Panoramic City tour with our local guide. During the visit, you’ll get to see the old parts of Havana: the Malecon Boulevard, Revolution Square, Colomb Cemetery, Miramar and Morro Castle. From the castle, you can steal a glance of the overview of Havana. Reaching the Revolution Square, you’ll learn about its historical significance and association with the people - it was used for setting multitudinous meeting back in time. Colomb Cemetery, one of the most important funeral monuments in Latin America, has varied styles of graves - from classical to art deco to eclectic to contemporary. No doubt, they are treat to the eyes! From there, you’ll travel to Morro Castle, designed by Italian engineer, Juan Bautista Antonelli. It was built by slaves with rocks extracted from the moats to defend the town of San Cristobal De La Habana in the late 16th century. You’ll head for lunch at a local restaurant post this. With this, your Day 1 concludes in Havana.

Day 2: Is it even a trip to Cuba if you haven’t discovered its famous Cigars?

A delicious start to the day indeed! Start off your second day with breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, a 3-hour drive will take you to Vinales Valley, home to the world-famous Cuban cigars. Then follows a trip to Vinales City Centre, Tobacco fields and local tobacco farm. You’ll then stop for lunch at a local restaurant in the middle of the valley. Through a trip to Pinar del Rio, you’ll be exposed to the culture and production of Cigar in the factories. You also have the option of buying cigars if you wish to. Towards the end, after sipping on drink up the hill with a panoramic view of Vinales Valley, you’ll return to your hotel in Havana.

Day 3: Riding along Havana and a trip back in time

Yet another day filled with excitement! You’ll start off with a tour to American classic cars that were imported from American during Cuban revolution at the end of 1958. If you’re a car fanatic, you’re gonna love it! Riding along, you’ll see the neighbourhood of Jose Fuster, known as the Picassos of Cuba, overflowing with paintings, ceramics and drawings. All these have been transformed into an open-air exhibition. The trip stretches to Hamel street, the centre of modern artist, named after Fernando Hamel. Post this, you’ll take a short trip to Cuba’s legend, Che Guevara’s house, the iconic person who led Cuban Revolution. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Now then, get ready to pass Pedro Street, considered to be one of the most pleasant streets of Havana. A visit to Museum of Revolution is a must, for it was used as a palace during Batista regime after the revolution. This is the biggest museum of Cuba and when you see weapons, uniforms and items from the Cuban revolution, you’ll know why! Back to hotel and your day ends!

Day 4: An adventurous trip turns classic - Ernest Hemingway & Cojimar Village Tour

Imagine if we tell you that you can explore the village of Cojimar where Ernest Hemingway, one of the greatest writers of the 20th century, wrote his highly acclaimed ‘The Old Man and The Sea’? You won’t believe, would you? Well, this dream of yours can come true on Day 4 where you set on a Ernest Hemingway and Cojimar Village tour. The village is located just 20 minutes away from Havana. You’ll also be visiting La Finca, which is used as Hemingway Museum, bought by Hemingway himself from the money he earned from ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’. Post lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll be transferred back to the hotel for the night.

Day 5: Same vacation, new journey! A trip to Cienfuegos and Trinidad

Post breakfast, you’ll embark on a 3-hour bus journey to Cienfuegos tour, one of the most beautiful cities in Havana. Upon arrival, stop by for lunch at a local restaurant, post which set for a journey full of new and enriching experiences. The city of Cienfuegos was founded in 1819 by French settlers and has been protected by UNESCO for eons. You’ll visit Tomas Terry Theater, which was built between 1887 and 1889 in the honour of Tomas Terry, the great Venezuelan industrialist. Following Cienfuegos tour, you’ll head to Trinidad, a city known for its production of sugar between 18th and 19th century. As you walk through the stone streets, you’ll find yourself travelling in time while sipping on Canchanchara - a mixture of Trinidad lemon juice with honey and Cuban Rom.
Transfer to the hotel; check in & overnight in Trinidad.

Day 6: Triple the fun during Trinidad - Santa Clara - Varadero trip

Post breakfast, you’ll embark on the city tour. Starting off, you’ll continue to drive the city of Villa Santa Clara, a significant facade of Cuban Revolution and the legend of Che Guevara. You’ll then break for lunch at a local restaurant. Continuing the tour, you’ll visit Parque Vidal and witness the traces of bullet tracks at the old Hilton Hotel. Blame us if you don’t feel you’re transported back in time and actually living these moments! Afterward, you will visit one of the most important symbols of the revolution: the armoured train. Adding to this will be a quick trip to Mausoleum and Museum of Che. Read some famous farewell letter & cuneiform. Then a 3-hour drive to Varadero and transfer to hotel.

Day 7: An experience of a lifetime at Cayo Blanco Island

Post breakfast, you’ll join us on a visit to Crucero del Sol Excursion Catamaran Tour. On reaching Marina, you’ll hop on Catamaran and sail to Cayo Blanco Island. Enjoy the sea and sun under palm trees over white sands. Get a once-in-a-lifetime experience to encounter dolphins for about 15 minutes. Luncheon at a local restaurant - an open buffet in the middle of Cayo Blanco island. Return to Varadero Marina and back to hotel.

Day 8: A great trip comes to an end

After an early breakfast, you’ll be escorted to Havana Airport. With this, you memorable trip to Cuba comes to a halt.
