The Property – A Luxurious Rustic Heritage

Established in the late 19th century as a hunting lodge on the outskirts of the Badlands of India, the Lakshman Sagar Resort is designed with a fusion of traditional Rajasthani architecture and eco-sustainability, using indigenous resources like stone, wood, and mud. The Mardana and Zanana quarters featured along with the 12 rustic cottages at the resort reflect the age-old Rajput lifestyle, customs, and culture while the luxurious amenities add some contemporary essence for your comfort.

Luxury Cottage - 84 sq.m: Perched on small hills on either side of the lake, the luxury cottages are designed and built using native resources and architecture to provide you with an authentic experience of the local culture. Each luxury cottage features an exquisite bathroom, lavish amenities, a private plunge pool, and a king-sized bed to pamper you with comfort and opulence.

• Deep cleaning of all washrooms is ensured at regular intervals.
• Thermal screening of all guests and employees before they enter the property is compulsory.
• Regular staff training is initiated for maintaining social distancing norms, hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette.

Change of Date: 1 change in dates is permissible at no additional charge, provided that the change is made at least 30 days before the original arrival date and provided that the hotel has availability on the newly requested dates. Hotel Cancellation Policy: All cancellations will be completely free and qualify for a 100% refund, provided it is done at least 7 days prior to the check in date. Past that, any cancellation, including a no-show on the day of arrival, will incur a full payment.

Validity: Each package is valid for two adults.

Maximum Guest Capacity: The maximum room capacity is two adults sleeping in king or queen bedding. Extra guests can only be accommodated in a separate room.

Child Policy: Lakshman Sagar is located in mountainous terrain. For reasons of safety, it is not suitable for children below 12 years. Therefore, the resort is not recommended for families travelling with children below the age of 12 years. If the guardian wishes to travel with a child below 12 years, a written letter stating the sole responsibility of the child should be submitted on arrival.

One child below 12 years of age can stay in parent’s room, however, meals will be charged as per consumption.

By Air

Jodhpur Airport, located 136 km (approx. 2.5 hours) away from the resort, gets regular direct flights from major cities of India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Bangalore.

By Road

You can also reach the resort via an 8.5-hour (approx. 500 km) drive from Delhi or a 4-hour (approx. 230 km) drive from Jaipur.

By Rail

The resort is located 3.5 km (approx. 10 minutes) away from Haripur Railway Station. It has good rail connectivity with a regular influx of trains from various cities, such as Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Ajmer.
