Constance Moofushi is on the tip of the South Ari Atoll, rich with underwater creatures, and a 25-minute seaplane ride from Malé, the capital of Maldives.

Ari Atoll (also called Alif or Alifu Atoll) is one of the natural atolls of the Maldives. It is one of the biggest atolls and is located in the west of the archipelago. It has been divided in two sections for administrative purposes, Northern Ari Atoll and Southern Ari Atoll consisting of 105 islands.

The diving in Ari Atoll is extensive and is often defined by location within the atoll, either North or South. The main tourist resorts were Ari Beach, Halaveli, Moofushi, Twin Islands Resort, and Dhoni Mighilli.

 

The property — Combination of Simplicity and Luxury

With breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, the property boasts 24 beach villas, 56 water villas and 30 senior water villas at Constance Moofushi.

You can spend your day loafing, or in the games room and library, while evenings are stress-free, where you can choose to go to the bar or dig into some ice cream for kids (homemade, with flavours that change daily). For entertainment, there is a DJ and weekly traditional dancing.

The spa has beds overlooking the water and offers Balinese massages plus a small range of natural wraps and treatments. There is a dive shop as well.

Water Villa - 66 sq.m: Villas are simple, well-made thatched wooden bungalows which have giant travel chests for wardrobes and beachcomber-inspired fittings, in forms that resemble waves or shells. A Mac mini hidden inside a mother-of-pearl desk brings things up-to-date.

Water Villas feature air-conditioning, ceiling fan, bathroom, shower, WC, hairdryer, sitting area, complimentary WI-FI, LCD TV, mac mini (iPod connection, CD & DVD), telephone, mini-bar, safe, tea, coffee facilities and a wooden terrace.

7-day Change of Heart Refund Policy: We always have one deal better than the other. So we understand your change of heart. Within 7 days of purchase, we’ll happily give you an option to cancel your booking, with a full refund, as long as the cancellation date is at least 30 days before the arrival date. For cancellations after 7 days of purchase, the hotel’s cancellation policy and penalty apply.

Change of Date: 1 change in dates is permissible at no additional charges, provided that the change is made at least 30 days before the original arrival date and provided that the hotel has availability on the newly requested dates. The final decision regarding date changes is at the sole discretion of the Hotel and the Hotel reserves the right to decline a change in dates, should availability not exist on newly requested dates.

Facilities

Dining: Manta Restaurant is the main buffet restaurant. “Trip around the world” is the theme of this restaurant. It offers a live cuisine experience and interaction between chefs and guests which is one of the top priorities at the buffet with themes changing daily, from wood-fired crispy pizza to Maldivian specialities. There is also an over-water extension to this restaurant that will give you a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean.

• Alizee Restaurant is an à la carte “beach grill” located a few meters from the sea on white sandy beaches. Indulge in some delicacies like pizza, hamburgers, sandwiches and fries, as well as large salads that can be accompanied by grilled fish & meat. In the evening, the beach grill serves a vast selection of seafood dishes, amongst other specialities.
• MANTA Bar is located next to the main restaurant. Waffles are served in the afternoon, and after dinner, the bar is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while listening or dancing to our DJ’s selection of tunes.
• TOTEM Bar is situated right on the beach behind the pool. Enjoy a fresh fruit smoothie, or choose from a menu of freshly brewed iced teas with snack menu that is served for lunch and in the afternoon. This bar is also one of the most romantic places to be for a sundowner on the beach.

Spa: Constance Moofushi’s charming spa is set on a wooden jetty over the tranquil waters of the ocean and has a quiet, shaded relaxation area. Relax, rejuvenate, detox, re-hydrate or simply enjoy – the choice is yours. You will also receive a Spa Experience Card so that they can keep a note of your wellness goals and preferences, and customise your treatments accordingly.

Reviews

Flights from all the major metro cities in India are available to Velana International Airport. Upon arrival, you can take the iconic seaplane journey, taking you directly to the resort. This journey is already included in your FABgetaways deal. You will be welcomed by Constance’s team and taken to the seaplane (Trans Maldivian Airways) check-in counter approximately 20 meters away from the arrival desk. The guests along with their luggage will be checked on the pre-booked flight to Constance Moofushi. The Constance lounge at the Male airport is open till 9 PM with all the facilities (free WI-FI, snacks and drinks) that are a part of your package.
