Kyaikhto: If you visit Myanmar, then a trip to Kyaikhto is a must! What’s fascinating about this place is that it is one of the most important pilgrimage point of Buddhist faith. It is believed that Buddha’s sacred hair is contained within the Kyaikhto Pagoda.

 

5-day holiday itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrival at Yangon International Airport

Are you ready to travel wide and deep? But before that, time for a good sleep! On your arrival at Yangon International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your touring guide. You’ll be escorted to your hotel where you’ll stay overnight.

DAY 2: Visit the paradise of Pagodas!

Fuel yourself up with delicacies of Myanmar for breakfast before you get your day rolling! First thing, you hit the road and drive down to an ancient capital, Bago. There, you'll visit Kyaik Khat Wain Kyaung and look up to Shwe Tha Lyaung Reclining Buddha and Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda, 28-meter-high image of Kyaikpun Pagoda. You'll also get the privilege to witness monks receive donations. Next up is a visit to Kanbawzathadi Golden Palace of King Bayinnaung. During the afternoon, you'll continue your journey to Kyaikhto and finally call it a day!

DAY 3: Golden Rock visit - A trip that defies expectations!

Get ready for a memorable Day 3! On this day, you’ll visit one of the wonders of the world, Kyaikhtiyo Golden Rock. You’ll hop on an open truck and drive uphill to the top of the mountain. On reaching the site, you’ll witness the sacred boulder covered by golden leaf. In the afternoon, you’ll get down to the foot and return to Yangon.

DAY 4: Sightseeing, shopping and more on the final day!

Post a delicious start of the day, you’ll set forth for sightseeing of renowned Shwedagon Pagoda, the old colonial-style city centre; Mahabandoola Park, which has Independence Monument; and Bogyoke Aung San Market, the most popular market of the country where you can buy luxury items, handicrafts, food stuff, clothing, jewelry, fashion, and other goods. With this, you incredible journey to Myanmar ends!
