Your Room – Rustic Keralan Stay with Modern Luxe

Small Room Cottage- 20 sq.m: Overlooking the immaculate waters of the Vembanad Lake, the Small Room Cottage is built using reclaimed and recycled resources in local architectural style to provide you with an authentic Keralan stay. The rustic cottage is adorned with a cosy double bed, a tranquil air-conditioned ambience, and an in-house bath garden to let you completely relax as you get lost in the mesmerising views of the garden.

Large Room Cottage- 37 sq.m: With more space than the small room, the Large Room Cottage provides you with a more airy experience while retaining the rustic ambience through its traditional architecture and sustainable use of resources. Ornated with artwork depicting local history, the spacious cottage features a comfy double bed, a lush bath garden, and a tranquil reading room for your leisure and relaxation while also offering you serene views of the garden to please your soul.

7-day Change of Heart Refund Policy: We always have one deal better than the other. So, we understand your change of heart. Within 7 days of purchase, we’ll happily give you an option to cancel your booking, with a full refund, as long as the cancellation date is at least 30 days before the arrival date. For cancellations after 7 days of purchase, the hotel’s cancellation policy and penalty apply.

Change of Date: 1 change in dates is permissible at no additional charge, provided that the change is made at least 30 days before the original arrival date and provided that the hotel has availability on the newly requested dates. The final decision regarding date changes is at the sole discretion of the Hotel and the Hotel reserves the right to decline a change in dates, should availability not exist on newly requested dates.

Hotel Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation will incur a full payment. A no-show on the day of arrival will also incur charges equivalent to a full stay.

Validity: Each package is valid for two adults.

Maximum Guest Capacity: The maximum room capacity is two adults and one child (aged below 12 years) or 3 adults. See the ‘Extra Guest Policy’ and ‘Child Policy’ for more details.

Extra Guest Policy: Where applicable, an extra adult can stay at a surcharge of INR 2500 per night, with an extra bed and breakfast, payable directly at the resort.

Child Policy: Where applicable, a child aged between 0 - 5 years may stay free of charge, a child aged between 6 - 12 years may stay at a surcharge of INR 2500 per night, these charges include an extra bed and breakfast, payable directly to the resort.

The nearest airport from the resort is Cochin International Airport, located 48 km (approx. 1 hour) away. The airport receives regular non-stop flights from major cities of India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. Once you arrive at the shores of Lake Vembanad from the airport, a host from Kayal would accompany you to the retreat via a boat ride through the backwaters.

You can also drive to the resort via a 9.5-hour (403 km) route from Mysore or via an 11-hour (576 km) route from Bangalore. Once you arrive at the shores of Lake Vembanad, a host from Kayal would accompany you to the retreat via a boat ride through the backwaters.

Ernakulam Junction, located 23 km (approx. 45 minutes) away from the resort, is the nearest railhead and is well-connected to some of the major Indian cities, such as Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and Trivandrum. Once you arrive at the shores of Lake Vembanad from the railway station, a host from Kayal would accompany you to the retreat via a boat ride through the backwaters.
